Abels Cottage - Sleeps 7

Abels Cottage is situated among other farm dwellings nestled 150 metres from the North Cornish coastline.

Abels is a converted barn with over 200 years of history, this delightful cottage was once a Blacksmith Abel’s ‘Smithy’.

The cottage is converted in a contemporary style maintaining much of its original character with slate and wooden floors throughout, stone walls and exposed beams.

Abel’s has central heating and an open plan interior with a well equipped kitchen which includes dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob and large fridge freezer.

This incorporates a large dining table where visitors often comment on the relaxed atmosphere of evenings spent around it.

The kitchen / dining room adjoins a large sitting area with wood burning stove, plenty of sitting space, with TV and DVD player. A large arched window gives a charming feel.

Sleeping arrangements are as follows:

The cottage sleeps 7.

The open plan kitchen / dining / living area leads up to a mezzanine with 1 double bed. Wifi is accessible in cottage.

Bedrooms are through an archway from the living area. There is   a double bedroom and a bunk room with additional single bed.

The bath and shower room with toilet is situated between the two bedrooms.

Abels leads out to an open paddock grassed area shared by the other cottages. The other cottages are nearby but detached, the main farmhouse and the Barn are out of sight. Abels has it’s own barbeque and sitting area adjacent to the paddock.

The paddock leads through a gate onto the cliff field where just minutes away are spectacular views up and down the coast and across to St Gennys Church.

There is sufficient parking for 2 cars per cottage. There's also a lockable shed outside that can store any boards, wetsuit, boots or bikes during your stay.

Bed linen is provided. Towels are not supplied.

Electricity is included. Gas for heating and hot water is by £1 metre.
