The Barn - Sleeps 7
The Barn interior is also a combination of contemporary and traditional. This ‘upside down’ house has an open plan kitchen dining area approached by a small stairway.
The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, small dishwasher etc. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area that then extends to a small snug area by a woodburning stove, wooden flooring and exposed beams are throughout.
The door from here leads outside onto a balcony that extends alongside the house and into a private sloped garden with barbeque and sitting area at the top. From here the sea views are stunning with views across the fields to St Gennys church also.
Inside adjacent to the kitchen dining area is a sitting room with TV, DVD and freeview. Wireless Broadband is also available. This room has a contemporary relaxed feel.
Also upstairs is a shower / toilet room.
Sleeping arrangements in the Barn are as follows:
Upstairs next to the shower / toilet room is a small single room.
Downstairs a small hallway leads to 2 small bunk rooms, a bath, shower and toilet room and next to this a large Double room.
There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer for all cottages - there is a charge for use of these facilities which are located in a small shared outhouse near the farmhouse (a maximum of 150 metres from the cottages)
Electricity, gas and sheets for the beds are provided. Logs are available from Wainhouse Corner.
There is sufficient parking for 2 cars per cottage.
